Trimline was entrusted with the comprehensive transformation of the Weite Welt Restaurant aboard AIDAdiva into the luxurious Yacht Club dining experience. The project involved a full strip-out and rebuild across the restaurant's expansive footprint, delivering a modern, elegant venue that aligns with AIDA Cruises’ vision for elevated onboard dining.
The refurbishment included extensive demolition and removal of existing features, including furniture, ceiling and wall linings, decorative elements, flooring, and buffet infrastructure. Structural adjustments were undertaken to prepare the space for a new layout, with over 70 deck penetrations capped and new bulkheads erected to define service and guest areas.
Trimline supplied and installed an array of bespoke joinery and architectural features. This included a suite of fixed and loose furniture—such as custom tables, upholstered banquettes, and feature room dividers—crafted to complement the refined new interior scheme. Decorative stainless steel grid structures, polished ceiling features, chandeliers, and wall treatments added a sophisticated touch, while technical elements like lighting, AV, HVAC, and fire systems were seamlessly integrated.
Catering spaces saw a full upgrade, with new USPH-compliant buffet counters, handwash stations, and a new pantry area fitted with state-of-the-art finishes and stainless steel ceilings. Flooring was completely replaced with precision-cut tiles and custom skirting details, and ceilings were rebuilt in multiple styles—including panel, seamless, and decorative stainless steel—adding both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality.
The project, delivered over an intensive 50-day on-site period, showcases Trimline’s ability to deliver high-spec, design-led marine interior outfitting within tight timescales and complex operational environments.
