As part of the AIDA Evolution program, Trimline was appointed to convert an external area of AIDAdiva into a vibrant new venue – the Lanai Bar. This transformation brought a stylish and contemporary bar experience to the open deck, blending elegant finishes with practical functionality.
The project involved a full strip-out of the existing space, including removal of parasols, fixed tables, flooring, and canopy structures. Once cleared, a bespoke bar area was constructed, featuring a 5.6m-diameter illuminated bar counter clad in Corian artificial stone and powder-coated aluminium, accompanied by a back bar unit and custom-built fixed and loose furniture. Integrated Cristallux lighting elements and custom balustrades helped define the space and elevate its visual appeal.
Key elements of the fit-out included installation of Bolidt Future Teak flooring, decorative lighting rings, and a suite of catering equipment supplied by Seaking. Trimline also supplied and installed glass automated doors, A60 fire doors, and custom storage cabinets. A complete electrical reconfiguration ensured the space supported new lighting, power, and bar equipment in line with the updated layout.
From structural upgrades to refined finishes, Trimline delivered a full turnkey solution that brought the Lanai Bar concept to life, enhancing guest experience and extending the vessel’s food and beverage offering in time for her next sailing season.
