Trimline undertook a comprehensive refurbishment of the food counter and flooring at Cagney's Restaurant on the Norwegian Getaway. The project commenced with protecting existing elements, such as bulkheads, carpets, partitions, and buffet counters, ensuring no damage occurred during the renovation. The demolition phase involved removing and disposing of the existing tiled flooring, countertops, and various catering equipment, followed by the necessary preparations for new installations. This phase ensured the space was ready for modern upgrades, maintaining cleanliness and stability throughout the process.
In the new construction phase, Trimline installed new flooring and countertops, significantly enhancing the restaurant's appearance and functionality. The flooring was upgraded with new tiles, including the application of a screed for a smooth finish and the installation of transition strips between carpet and tiles. Additionally, new stone countertops and backsplashes were installed in compliance with USPH rules, providing a modern and hygienic surface for food service. The existing catering equipment was reinstalled, ensuring the space was fully operational and compliant with health regulations.
